Seth Wagoner

In the pre-web days, Seth was the sysop of the best little dial-up BBS in Christchurch, a hub of crazed intellectualism in the early to mid '90s. This did little to help his grades or sleeping habits.

Seth has been addicted to building interesting stuff for the web ever since his first homepage. During the early boomtimes of 99/00, he designed and/or constructed:

In 2001 Seth thought up something quite novel for the time - browser-based instant messaging. Several offerings along similar lines finally came to light in 2005/6, such as Meebo. 2001 was really the wrong time to raise funds for an Internet startup, however, so the prototype never got finished and he went back to consulting and web development under the Apposite brand. He started brainstorming a new startup based around machine translation in 2003, which got Apposite into the Canterbury Innovation Incubator. Around the middle of 2004 he had some ideas for the project that eventually became Interclue, ideas that gradually snowballed until they overtook everything else. Seth's broad base of relevant skills give him a keen insight into the art of the possible, but he no longer has the patience for actual coding.

Seth has a blog, a MySpace page and a Facebook page, and can be found on various other parts of the Internet.

Karl Dearden

Karl has worked with Seth for many years across various projects. Primarily a Javascript expert, he also has skills in PHP, SQL, XUL, Delphi and, of course, CSS and HTML. A family man, he has an uncanny ability to work a sensible 9-5 work week. Karl is responsible for 99% of the code within the Interclue browser plug-ins. He finds cross-browser Javascript development painful — almost as painful as it was having to re-implement for IE every feature Seth got him to build for Firefox back when Interclue had two separate codebases.

Nic Scott

Nic is Interclue's most recent recruit, having recently left safe and well-paid employment for the excitement and challenges of an underfunded, bleeding-edge web startup. With a wide variety of skills across many operating systems, Nic loves to learn new tools and technologies and has a passion for finding the best solution to any tech problem Seth decides to throw his way.

Interclue is housed in the Canterbury Innovation Incubator, 200 Armagh St, Christchurch, New Zealand.

We would like to thank all these people for helping make Interclue possible.
