Clueviews: They're Like Previews, But More Clueful.

Interclue is the first browser add-on to really do previews the right way. Other similar add-ons give too little information (eg, an outdated snapshot of a webpage) or too much information (eg, the entire linked page in a big window that covers the screen). Clueviews, on the other hand, are designed to show you the right amount of information, live from the web, and as fast as possible. In some cases, extra information can be gathered from third-party sources such as del.icio.us or Digg, and this is shown as well. Here are some examples of what Interclue can do for you:

	If it's a link to an ordinary HTML page, Interclue downloads just the HTML, finds the most significant block(s) of text1 and shows those in the Clueviewer. If you click the "show images" button, it will show thumbnails of the largest images as well.2 [1] This bit is quite tricky. [2] And so is this.
	If it's a link to an image, the Clueview shows a thumbnail of that image, which you can click for a full-size view.
	If it's a link to a huge image, the Clueview first asks whether to bother downloading it, then shows a thumbnail as above. The size limit is definable in the options.
	If it's a link to an MP3 or MOV sound file, Interclue lets you play it inline. When you start playing the file, the Clueviewer switches to Pinned Mode so that it won't suddenly stop playing when you move the mouse.
	If it's a link to a YouTube video, Interclue lets you play that inline as well. When you start playing a video inline, it switches the Clueviewer to Pinned Mode, as above.
	If it's a link to some sort of binary file, such as a PDF, Interclue shows you not just the file type, but also the file size and the publication date (info you can't get from just looking at the status bar).
	If it's a link to a .txt file, we show the text nicely formatted in a scrolling div.
	If the URL returns an error, we provide quick links to major Internet archives such as Google Cache so you can go hunting for it.
