Fast Web Browsing Tool Released

Christchurch-based Interclue Ltd
Launches Interclue Add-on for Firefox

Christchurch, New Zealand — 16 May 2007

A free tool that provides fast, informative previews of Internet links has been released by New Zealand software company Interclue Ltd, with the aim of boosting browsing efficiency for users.

“The Interclue add-on can quickly show you the most important Information you need to know about a link—where it's going, what type of link it is, and what is on the page it links to,” says Interclue CEO Seth Wagoner. “This will greatly reduce the frustration and time wasting often associated with using the Web.”

The initial add-on release is for Firefox users, who traditionally have been heavy Internet users. Interclue plans to shortly release an IE7 version and is developing add-ons for other popular browsers such as Safari and Opera.

The smart software has been under heavy development for the past eighteen months, with Interclue Ltd one of the promising hi-tech companies selected to be housed by the Canterbury Innovation Incubator. The browser add-on rates highly against the limited preview tools currently available, with the development strategy concentrating on making it as useful as possible for the busy Web surfer.

An early beta test has gained enthusiastic responses from Web users looking for greater efficiency in Internet usage. Wagoner is confident that the Interclue add-on will become a must-have for the tech-savvy Firefox community, expanding to other browsers as further releases are made.

Interclue Ltd has plans to extend development of the free version to provide a subscriber-based service offering more features and faster results. In a novel approach, the company is offering to double any donations made by users of the free version as credit when they sign up for the subscription service.
